eHumanities Conference at Leipzig

Today is really an important and exciting day for DH in Germany: The German Federal Ministry of Research and Education (BMBF) set up a research program for eHumanities and does not only support research infrastructures like TextGrid, CLARIN und DARIAH but also 24 eHumanities projects from a whole range of disciplines. 8th and 9th of april these projects meet at Leipzig, where the wonderful Greg Crane just started his Humboldt-professorship – of course he will give a talk today.

DHDarmstadt is here with some researchers from two new projects but also for TextGrid and DARIAH. I hope to give some more impressions of the eHumanities diversity after the conference.
