About Henriette

I am going to be so lazy as to practically just copy/paste in from the about page on my blog ūüôā

I have just (Nov 2012) moved with my little family to Munich to work as a Programmer and Digital Humanist with the¬†Buddhist Manuscripts from Gandhara¬†project at the Institut f√ľr Indologie and Tibetologie at Ludwig-Maximillians-Universit√§t M√ľnchen.

I am finishing my Doctorate (PhD) at the University of Oxford with the title: ¬†‚ÄĚA¬†Decision Support System for the Reading of Ancient Documents‚Äú. The PhD is a part of the¬†Image, Text, Interpretation: e-Science, Technology and Documents project (also known as the¬†eSAD project) from 2008-2011.

My Doctorate was based at the Centre for the Study of Ancient Documents (CSAD) at the Ioannou Centre for Classical and Byzantine Studies (Classics) at the University of Oxford where my supervisor Professor Alan K. Bowman is situated.
The eSAD project and thus the doctorate was conducted in co-operation with Dr. Melissa Terras (Centre for Digital Humanities, University College London) and  Professor Sir Michael Brady (Dept of Engineering Science, University of Oxford).

I have also recently added material about my MSc dissertation in Archaeological Computing at the Archaeological Computing Research Group, University of Southampton, supervised by Dr. Graeme Earl.

My CV is available on my Linkedin profile and a list of papers, publications and talk (some with links to downloadable copies) are available on my Academia.edu profile.

Mainly work related twitter:¬†@HenrietteRoued¬†¬†‚Äď although some crafty bit‚Äôs may sneak in from time to time.

I have chosen to keep one blog for everything (crafts,¬†genealogy¬† gardening, ect.) but if you are only interested in my work related posts ‚Äď check out the¬†work category¬†or subscribe to the¬†work rss feed.
