I am an Associate Professor in English at the University of Waterloo. I specialize in new media theory and practice, and have been involved in DH research since 1997. I am a Member at Large of the Executive of the Canadian Society for Digital Humanities. my current project, Deciphering Digital Life Writing, is funded by a SSHRC Standard Research Grant. I teach a yearly workshop at the Digital Humanities Summer Institute at the University of Victoria, and have since 2004. I am a founding editor of the feminist academic blog Hook & Eye, and can be found on Twitter at @digiwonk.
