Kathi Inman Berens is an independent scholar teaching part time at two universities 1000 miles apart. She curates electronic literature, and just finished co-curating the first exhibit of electronic literature at the Library of Congress. She’s also co-curated shows for the Modern Language Association. At USC, she invented a synchronous, hybrid class that meets predominantly in a virtual classroom; she commutes monthly to Los Angeles from Portland, Oregon. A Fellow at USC Annenberg’s innovation Lab, she is an IBM Faculty Award Winner for work with their proprietary software. She’s also a devoted mom and wife.
