Nuts & Bolts

I attended a fascinating Nuts & Bolts session, coordinated as always but the very capable Laura Estill.  It featured Catherine Caws from the Department of French, and the topic was “Using Digital Tools to Engage Learners.”  Catherine spoke about her experiences in digital pedagogy as it applies to language learning in higher education.  Nuts & Bolts is an informal discussion series, and so there was plenty of time for questions after Catherine’s talk.  It was a very successful talk, with many from the lab in attendance, as well as other interested parties.
